When your child first joins they won’t
be wearing a uniform.
On the third week we ask that they
come in uniform so we can make
sure they have it. Once they have
completed the four weeks and they
have a uniform, they will then be
invested and given their Scout
badges and a Scout Neckerchief.
You will be given more information
about uniform later. Uniforms can
be obtained from various places, but
our Scout District also has its own
shop. Wakefield Scout Shop.

Sheffield Scout and Guide Shop
If you are in Sheffield at any time
there is a Scout and Guide Shop. It is
open normal hours which you can
check on their website. If you are
there are Saturday, drive up to the
gate and it will open. You will need a
code to get out, the shop will give
you the code, they change it every
day. There is limited parking in the
week as they rent most of it out, but
there is pay and display street
parking. On Saturdays, the shop car
park is fully available. Obviously, they
don’t expect you to park there for the
day, it is for customers.
