Scouts
On my honour,
I promise that I will
do my best
to uphold our
scout values,
to do my duty to
the King,
to help other people
and to keep the
Scout Law.
The two stars on the fleur-de-lis stand for Truth
& Knowledge.
Each star has five points. The ten points of the
stars once represented the ten points of the
original Scout Law. However, now there are
only seven Scout Laws.
Here is what the different parts of the badge
are also meant to signify.
What is the World Membership badge
meant to represent?
We are always pleased to hear from
adults who are interested in joining
our team; more volunteers means
more scouting opportunities for
young people.
We have to ensure that we have
sufficient team members and the
physical space to accommodate the
youngsters in our Group. We take
as many children as we can;
however, we do have a waiting list.
Contact Ken Gaskell if you would
like to know more about
volunteering or getting your child
onto our waiting list.
